The Ministry of Lector

Occasionally, St. Bernardine's will place an ad in the weekly bulletin seeking volunteers for the Lector ministry.  If you have a love for serving God and a love of His words and a desire to study them more deeply, consider becoming a lector.  Contact the rectory (email now) and leave your name and phone number.

It is a privilege to join the ranks of the multitude who speak God's inspiring words as stated in the Workbook for Lectors and Gospel Readers"  "When you answer the call to be a minister of the word, you enter into a deeper relationship with God revealed in sacred scripture.  You take it upon yourself the awesome duty and privilege of bringing the printed word to life, making it flesh".
